Express - Delivery Information
We offer a wide and increasing selection of gifts which can be ordered and delivered to any main London Postcode the same day.
You can also preorder ready for delivery by 13:00 hrs on the next working day.
SAME WORKING DAY
DELIVERY
All London Express gifts can be ordered up to just before 13:00 hrs for same working
day delivery, Monday to Friday (except UK Bank Holidays) Several of our gifts can be ordered later up to 15:00 hrs.
Please remember that all times
are subject to traffic on the day of delivery in some cases
this might take more than four hours to some postcodes. Orders for delivery is to a home/private address or a business with late opening are usually ok.
When you click on the small image for each individual product it will take to a larger picture. To the right of this picture you will see a note of the delivery postcodes and the soonest delivery day for delivery.
All orders received after the delivery cut off for the product will be held for delivery on the next working day.

LATE
DELIVERY TO A BUSINESS ADDRESS
When placing your order please
allow enough time to be sure that the person will still
be at the delivery address or that the business premises
will still be open. Your order is a one way delivery and
may be left at the couriers discretion. Any gifts returned
will be charged for a return journey and further charged
should a second delivery be necessary after consultation.

GIFT PRICES
All gifts shown within
our London Express Service are priced as a TOTAL
DELIVERED PRICE for the specific gift within the
SPECIFIC section for the SPECIFIC
service offered. This will always be subject to any possible
redirection or redelivery costs which will always be extra.

read the following notes for your help and guidance:
CORRECT
DELIVERY ADDRESS
It is very important that we receive a full and concise
recipients name and delivery address for any London Express
Delivery with a correct postcode and contact phone number.
This number can be the land-based number and or a mobile
number for the recipient at the delivery address. We would
rather not have a sales number for any business involved
in telesales. We reserve the right to call any address in
advance of delivery especially where we consider we have received inadequate
information or the delivery deadline is less than our normal
4 hours.
HOW
IS DELIVERY MADE?
Delivery is made by a specially commissioned courier/florist
delivery van or taxi and
It is understood
by placing your order that we must expect the recipient
or a responsible person to be available at the delivery
address to receive and sign for your gift.
It is very likely that we will call the delivery address
to check someone is there before sending our courier. We
may hold your gift until we can make contact and then send
the courier.

DELIVERY
TIME
It is our intention as advertised to make delivery within
4 hours from receipt and confirmation of your order or from
09:00 hrs on the day of delivery. However we must point
out that all deliveries are subject to reasonable traffic
and road conditions.
We cannot guarantee precise delivery
in the event of sudden or prevailing serious bad weather,
riot or national disaster, sudden road closure, terrorist
threat or similar situation causing serious traffic diversions,
protest or road blockage, serious sudden vehicle breakdown.
In the event of such a problem delivery
would be made at the earliest but fastest opportunity. With
a deadline to a work address, the gift would be left at
the premises with a responsible person even if the recipient
had gone home. If the business premises were closed the
delivery person may leave your gift with an adjacent business
if it seemed safe or would exercise the right to a next
day redelivery.
We may not guarantee to deliver your
gift personally to the recipient. It will be delivered to
the main and normal point of delivery or contact at the
delivery address. This could be a reception desk at an office
or reception at a hospital. We are unable to be responsible
for the time taken for your gift to reach the recipient
from such a delivery point.
It is understood that every reasonable
measure is taken to ensure a swift delivery within the 4
hours. Where any problems occur of the above nature we regret
that we are unable to offer any immediate reduction in costs
or refund. This condition is accepted by placing an order.

CUSTOMER AVAILABILITY
IN THE EVENT OF ANY QUERY OR PROBLEM
We request contact information
from every customer for every order. We expect that every
customer ordering through the London Express Service will
be available during, up to and slightly after the 4 hour
period to receive a telephone call from our office should
there be any problem with delivery. The same situation applies
for an order placed by a customer outside the UK where e-mail
contact would be used instead of the phone. We do not guarantee
to contact every customer in the event of a problem especially
if we have not been made aware of that problem by our delivery
agent.
It is understood that should we not
be able to contact our customer in the event of a problem
we will take all reasonable steps to rectify the problem.
If this means returning your gift if there is nobody at
the delivery address to receive your gift further charges
may result for the return journey and any subsequent re
delivery. Delivery charges will apply and be chargeable,
under these circumstances, even if the gift is not delivered.
CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE
We have a policy of keeping in touch with every customer using this service. If this is the first time you are using our website you will be asked to fill in a simple customer registration form. This should reflect the details of the person actually placing the order, it is very important for immediate contact if we have any queries at any stage. On completing this our system will send an e-mail to confirm registration (possibly two!) On placing your full order we send you a copy of the order you have placed.
Your order is then received in our offices and processed and we will send you a full order confirmation which means your gift is being packed and will be on the road very soon.
Lastly you will receive a final e-mail to confirm delivery. This will not arrive at the time of delivery but as soon after as we are aware that delivery has been made.

We can arrange same working day delivery to other London Postcodes by request for London Express gifts only.
You will need to contact us by e-mail at: london-express-enquiry@giftservice.co.uk during our normal business hours - Monday to Friday 09:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs excluding Bank Holidays for a quick response. We will try to reply to any message received outside these hours as soon as possible. Our e-mail is regularly checked.
Delivery to other areas wil take more time and will cost more than our normal London Express prices. We will expect anyone contacting us to use this service to be aware of, expect and be prepared to pay a further cost depending the delivery location. This service may not be viable for orders placed after 12:00 hrs for same day delivery to a business address in some areas.
