PRODUCT STATUS
All aspects of product information shown on our website
are intended to be as exact as possible, correctly
displayed to provide a clear impression of each individual
product.
Whilst every attempt has been
made to correctly display this information, we reserve
the right not to sell a product according to the information
displayed, if that information, especially the price
information, is mistakenly incorrect. We would expect
to correct any errors, or withdraw the product, without
penalty, providing suitable notice where possible.
We reserve the right to withdraw
or refuse orders against a gift item, where the gift
item has suddenly become sold out. This may occur
at peak occasions where we have been unable to withdraw
the item concerned from our site or mark it out of
stock.

IMAGES
We have made it an important feature to try to show
an image for every product we offer throughout our
website.
The image shown will either
be intended as a near copy of the product or to represent
the idea of the product offered.
It may not always be possible
to offer an exact image for every product in our range.
We wish to avoid any misunderstanding on this subject.

IMAGE SIZES
It is our intention to collectively show a thumbnail
image for each product on the main page for that product.
On the main product page, on most sections of our
site, we offer a link through an button called "info"
which will take you to a further window where you
can view a larger version of the same image.
On the home page of each subject
section we have a larger image of the product of the
month.
The size of the image has no
relationship to the actual physical size of the product
offered. These images are not to scale with the product
and there is no perceived size in relation to physical
value.
PRODUCT DETAILS > PRODUCT COLOUR & TONE
Any image displayed for a gift item should be used
as a guide for that item in the broadest context.
Where we offer a gift which
is available in different colours, the shade of the
colour, shown in the image, should be taken as a guide
rather than a precise shade. Some images may also
provide a different tone from the actual physical
gift or the tone of the gift may be variable in itself.
Many items however are shown with a close likeness
to the real product.

PRICE
The product price is displayed beside each gift offered
on our website. This price, for the majority of products,
is a fully inclusive, delivered price, quoted in pounds
sterling. Extra charges may apply for delivery within
certain international countries and for any extra,
especially speedier, service provided where this is
available.
UK Florist Flowers and
Your Choice
The price of each gift shown
in these two sections is made up of the product price
plus £4.75 delivery plus a £3.00 Giftservice
house charge.
An example of this would be £50.00 price offered,
£3.00 Giftservice house charge, £4.75
delivery charge, leaving £42.25 as the equivalent
price if the gift had been collected from the florist
shop making the delivery.
London Express Orders
The above prices apply to all
London Express orders plus a further £5.50 priority
delivery charge within the London Express total price
to allow for the speedy delivery service provided
within 4 hours to London addresses within the M25
ring. We will still charge this £5.50 charge
if an order is placed for another area of the country
where we can still meet the criteria and provide the
same service.
An example of this would be a
£50.00 hand-tied bouquet. This would be made
up of £5.50 priority charge, £4.75 delivery
charge, £3.00 Giftservice house charge, with
£36.75 remaining for the bouquet.
International Flowers
This price arrangement extends to all deliveries in
this section where a £6.99 service charge is
levied by the governing relay service, plus a variable
Giftservice house charge normally around £6
to £8.00 but which could go up to £10.00
per order. This house charge is variable with the
current rate of exchange in use on the day of ordering.
Extra delivery charges can apply to certain areas
in a few countries these are listed through links
on the respective order/display pages for those countries.
An example would be Austria - £42.60 bouquet
of mixed flowers this would be made up of £6.99
service charge, £7.21 Giftservice house charge,
£28.40 delivered price arrangement.
It should be noted that the
relay service and its agents in some countries are
entitled to further reduce the product value for additional
handling services provided. These fees are out of
our control.
Price Promise
We would like to point out that
all prices have been worked out to try to offer the
best possible most cost effective service to all our
many customers. Should any charges made not be required
on any individual order it is our policy to use them
to increase the flower value of the gift.

CODE
Every product throughout our site is displayed with
its product code which is unique to that product.
The product code which follows throughout the order
process helps to identify the finer differences between
similar products.

NAME
Each product offered will have a title which will
be displayed beside the product image. This product
title will be used throughout the site for that product.
The product title will in some cases refer to the
relative size of the product or contain words to qualify
the product by way of design or colour.
The terms, extra large, large,
medium or small are used to give relative meaning
to the product but are always open to personal interpretation.
We do not imply a specific size unless otherwise mentioned
by the use of these terms.

DISCRIPTION
When you click on the "info" button and
pass on to the further information page, you will
see the product name, price, larger image, code number
and extra information about the product.
The extra information will help
to give further descriptive back ground about the
product, sizes, quantities, contents, colours and
various other information.

HOMEPAGE
On the left hand side of the main homepage for www.giftservice.co.uk
you will see a main section menu. This acts as link
to every section homepage within our website.
The page header which is used
throughout the site contains links back to the homepage
plus other main information used for the site. The
main link here is to the Customer Service Centre.
You will also see instant contact information in the
page header.
The homepage will contain day
to day current information and specific links to other
parts of our site.

SECTION HOMEPAGE
The product section homepage continues in the easy
to follow theme adopted throughout our site with the
section link menu on the left and the link header
above.
You will notice a larger image
of the section product of the month displayed in the
body of the section homepage. Alongside this image
filling the remainder of the page we have current
information about the products in that section. You
will see details of any products or services we wish
to bring to your attention, special offers and deals.
Seasonal changes or promotions will be highlighted
here with links back to our Customer Service Centre
for more detailed information.

Each product section page carries a heading which
will give information about that group of products.
The same heading will appear, for most subjects, as
the heading to the info page about the product.

GIFT CHOICE
When you have chosen your main gift within the Teddy,
Balloon, UK florist flowers, UK your choice and UK
postal flower sections on our site you may add one
or more additional gifts to your order.
Each section carries its own
range of extra gifts which is specific to that section.
You can choose from further illistrations for each
gift which has its own delivered price, gift code
and title.
By separate request, we may
be able to offer further product integration, especially
for the balloon and teddy sections of our site. We
regret this will not include other sections.

ORDERING SYSTEM
It is our intention to keep our site easy to navigate
and as informative as possible. Our site has been
designed to cope with our increasing product range.
We have designed an ordering system which should appeal
to everyone from the newcomer, to internet use, to
