> PACKAGING INFORMATION
Every gift supplied from our website is packed and
presented in the best possible way to ensure that
is can be successfully transported to arrive at the
delivery address in the best possible condition.
At the same time each gift is
presented, bearing in mind the transportation question,
to arrive suitably displayed for the occasion.
Each gift product is packaged
in a different way according to the type of product
and service involved. We will cover the details of
some of our services below.
Please
note the following details are at the discretion of
our product dispatch department. We offer these details
for guidance and information but they are subject
to alteration and change at any time. We
would be unable to accept any complaint resulting
from any change from the following details.
PACKAGING & PRESENTATION
> PACKING TEDDY BEARS
Each teddy is lovingly wrapped in complimenting coloured
tissue paper, sharing a strong delivery box with any
chosen extra gifts, which are secured and wrapped
in bubble plastic.
The tissue paper is sealed with
a sticker which itemises the contents of the box.
The box is securely sealed with strong packing tape.
PACKAGING & PRESENTATION
> PACKING FRUIT BASKETS
Every fruit basket which is supplied through our main
fruit service (with the exception of our valuefruit
service) is careful packed and its contents are shrink
wrapped. The basket is normally further wrapped in
bubble polythene and settled into a strong delivery
cardboard box.
Please note the initial product
which the recipient will see will be a suitably labelled
cardboard box not the visual sight of the fruit basket.

> PACKING VALUEFRUIT BASKETS
Each item of fruit is carefully positioned in a small
wicker basket. The fruit is interlaced with tissue
paper and finished with cellophane with complimenting
ribbon. Your message card is included with the fruit
basket.
The fruit basket is further
packed with bubble plastic and fits securely in a
small cardboard delivery box. The cardboard delivery
box is secured using strong packing tape.

> PACKING POSTAL FLOWERS
Our postal flowers are either delivered in a strong
upright cardboard box for larger bouquets or packed
in a strong horizontal delivery box.
The flowers are designed as
a hand-tied bouquet which is ready, after trimming
the base of the stems, to be put straight in a vase.
The stems are normally surrounded by an absorbent
cloth soaked in flowerlife solution. A vase is automatically
supplied with larger bouquets and optional, at extra
cost, with the smaller bouquets.
Each bouquet is carefully packed
to ensure it is securely held in the box, it comes
with a sachet flowerlife material to add to the water
in the vase, it is presented in quality cellophane
chosen to enhance the look of the bouquet matched
with complimenting ribbon.

> PACKING BALLOONS
Our balloons are delivered as one balloon in a box.
Our standard size delivery box is just over 14 inches
(36cm) square at the top and 9" (23cm) deep.
Other sizes may be used.
Your balloon is carefully laid
in the box with a balloon weight attached by a long
ribbon to the base of the balloon. It is encased in
layers of complimenting tissue paper, sharing the
box with any chosen additional gifts which would be
wrapped in bubble plastic. The tissue paper is sealed
on the top with a sticker itemising the contents of
the box. The box is securely sealed with strong packing
tape.
We have packed and designed
this presentation so that as the box and the tissue
paper are opened the balloon should float upwards
out of the box, secured by the balloon weight. This
process could depend upon the prevailing air temperature.

> PACKING FLORIST FLOWERS
The individual packaging of most of our florist flowers
is left to the individual florist according to the
prevailing conditions and the florists normal packaging
policy.
As our florist gifts are hand
delivered we assume that extra care is given in handling,
with less need for packaging, this allows for greater
impact when the delivery is made. With certain products,
too much packaging, can damage a gift rather than
enhance it. Certain products such as a wreath may
never be wrapped.
We find that the main products
which are greatly enhanced by wrapping are hand-tied
and traditional bouquets. These bouquets are completed
using a choice from many wonderful designs of cellophane
and quality ribbons now available. Flower food and
care instructions accompany all gifts delivered.
Plants and planted arrangements
may or may not be gift wrapped according to the subject
and the practicalities of wrapping plus the prevailing
weather conditions. On the balance of probability
we would normally expect most plants and planted arrangements
to be wrapped.
Flower arrangements would normally
not be wrapped, as wrapping can very often damage
the arrangement, especially if the arrangement was
to be picked up by the cellophane. This is left to
our florist discretion.
We can offer no guidance as
to the presentation and packaging of gifts supplied
through our International flower service. This subject
is left completely to our florist in the country concerned
according to their natural custom.

> PACKING DRINK
Our single bottles of drink are delivered in our special
delivery pack. The bottle of drink is wrapped in complimenting
tissue paper and laid in a specially designed tight
fitting polystyrene moulded box.
Your small gift card is attached
to the bottle and contained in this box. The polystyrene
shell is slotted into a strong external cardboard
outer delivery box which acts to hold everything together
giving ultimate protection. The outer box is sealed
with strong packing tape.
We are unable to supply this
gift with any other gift in the same package because
of the weight of this gift in relation to the Royal
Mail charges which jump tremendously when the parcel
weight goes above the weight of a single bottle of
drink.
Larger quantities of drink or
a combination of drink and other gifts may have to
be delivered by courier or as separate parcels.

> PACKING OTHER GIFTS
Most of our other gifts are packaged to ensure safe
transportation rather than pretty presentation. They
are wrapped in a protective layer such as bubble plastic
and packaged in a suitable delivery box to ensure
they arrive in good condition at the delivery address.
Our chocolates, fish and jigsaws
are delivered in this way.
