GIFT QUALITY &
CONDITION > GIFTSERVICE PRODUCTS
Every product which is offered through our website
has been carefully selected. Every gift has been chosen
for its quality nature and we hope that this high
quality will be recognised and appreciated by both
our customer and the recipient.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> POINT OF DISPATCH
Every gift is provided to the highest possible standard
and quality. Many of our gifts are of a perishable
nature. More perishable gifts are packed and delivered
as quickly as possible. Every item is checked for
quailty and condition before dispatch. We will not
dispatch any gift which does not meet our quality
requirements.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> PACKING AND PRESENTATION
Every gift order is correctly and expertly packed
and presented in carefully chosen delivery boxes as
appropriate. Some florists deliveries will not be
boxed, some florist deliveries will not be packaged.
These decisions are made by our team to ensure the
best quality product arrives at the delivery address.
See link below.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> SPEED OF DELIVERY
Most of our gifts are packaged and delivered within
a period of less than 24 hours. Our florist deliveries
are produced and very often delivered within a few
hours. The speed of delivery helps to ensure that
a good quality product always arrives at the delivery
address.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
When a gift is correctly received and signed for at
the delivery address it can be opened and displayed
in the correct manner for the gift concerned. This
will ensure that the gift remains in the best possible
condition as it left our dispatch department.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> PROBLEM DELIVERY
Where it has not been possible to make the delivery
to the correct address or there has been a problem
with the address details this will add to the delivery
time and start to cause problems with the peak condition
of some of our gifts.
This will mostly concern the
delivery of fresh flowers through our UK postal flowers,
our UK florist flowers or fish delivery services.
Every effort will be made to
assist the recipient and to ensure that the gift is
received. We are however often reliant on the ability
and willingness of the recipient to collect their
gift from the point of delivery.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> POINT OF DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY
Where a gift has been delivered to the correct point
of delivery (ie. the nearest point our delivery person
can go to the recipient) we may be unable to contact
or influence the speed with which the recipient collects
their gift.
Taken to extreme some recipients
may show no intention of collecting their gift, especially
from the local Royal Mail Sorting Office. We may be
unable to influence this position and we must consider
that our role in the delivery process has been completed
when the first delivery has been attempted and the
gift has been left at a suitable alternative location.
We will to the best of our ability
notify the recipient and/or the customer according
to prevailing circumstances.
We consider under these circumstances
that it becomes our customers responsibility to assist
us and further request the recipient to collect their
gift which will, in the case of fresh produce, continue
to deteriorate the longer it is left.
We give notice, as part of our
terms & conditions, that we cannot accept any
claim for poor quality or poor condition where there
has been a delay in the recipient collecting their
gift or they have completely failed to collect the
gift.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> POSTAL FLOWER DELIVERIES
We need to presume, as part of our terms & conditions,
that when one of our postal floral gift is received
at the recipients address, the recipient or their
agent will do everything possible to ensure that the
flowers are correctly cut and conditioned in fresh
water as soon receipt as possible.
It is further important that
the flowers are located in a suitable position at
the recipients address or wherever the recipient wishes
to keep and enjoy the flowers. Any flowers received
will remain in their best condition giving best value
and enjoyment in a neutral position which avoids any
excesses of temperature, light and physical damage.
Although we consider the time
the flowers have spent in their delivery box for transportation
to be acceptable, they should not be left in this
box any longer than is absolutely necessary after
arriving at the delivery address.
We are not prepared to accept
any complaint of poor quality for one of our postal
deliveries where the basic ideas above have not reasonably
been followed by the recipient.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> DAMAGED GOODS
Where the condition of the gift received has been
influenced by the actions of the delivery process
we should be informed immediately. Please see the
link below to our section on damaged goods.
GIFT QUALITY & CONDITION
> RETURN OF POOR QUALITY GOODS
We consider that it is very unlikely that anyone
should need to return their gift as being of poor
quality or poor condition.
Where a recipient feels that their gift having arrived
on the correct day with no obvious delivery problems
is of poor quality or condition we will be pleased
to try to correct the situation.
We will require the recipient
to return the gift to us and subject to our customers
agreement we will expect to replace the gift for the
recipient. The recipient would be fully reimbursed
for the cost of returning the gift.
