PAYMENT CARD DATES & ISSUE NUMBER > WHERE TO ENTER THE PAYMENT CARD DATES AND ISSUE NUMBER
Please go to the "Payment Details" section of the order form. The payment card start date, issue number and expiry date should be entered in the lines after the "Name on Card"
PAYMENT CARD DATES & ISSUE NUMBER > PAYMENT CARD START DATE
The "Start Date" is the date, normally the first day, presumed, of the month when the card starts its active life. Please make sure that this date has already passed and that the card is active.
If the start date is not shown, please leave blank.
The card will normally show the month and year, not an actual full date. For the month starting April 2003, it may be written as 04/03 or if in USA possibly 03/04 or April 2003 on the actual card.
Please enter this date as "04/03" You will notice we indicate on the order form that entry should be as MM/YY. It is important that the month comes first followed by the year. This is especially important now as we enter the first few years of the new century with a two digit month number similar to a two digit year number.
The electronic payment card system will only read what we tell it. If we have the numbers around the wrong way it will just reject the sale.

PAYMENT CARD DATES & ISSUE NUMBER > PAYMENT CARD EXPIRY DATE
The "Expiry Date" or "Expiration Date" is the date, normally the last day, presumed of the month when the card finishes its active life. Please make sure that this date has not aleady passed and that the card is still active. If the expiry date has passed you will need to look for your new card which should have arrived a few weeks earlier or consult your card company/bank. We cannot accept out of date cards. Please do not alter expiry dates.
The card will normally show the month and year, not an actual full date. For the month ending September 2005, it may be written as 09/05 or if in USA possibly 05/09 or September 2005 on the actual card.
Please enter this date as "09/05" You will notice we indicate on the order form that entry should be as MM/YY. It is important that the month comes first followed by the year. This is especially important now as we enter the first few years of the new century with a two digit month number similar to a two digit year number.
The electronic payment card system will only read what we tell it. If we have the numbers around the wrong way it will just reject the sale.
The order form requires an expiry date, this box may not be left blank.

PAYMENT CARD DATES & ISSUE NUMBER > PAYMENT CARD ISSUE NUMBER
An issue number is not required for most Visa, Amex, Diners Club or Mastercards.
The "Issue Number" is required for most Switch card transactions and all Solo card transactions. This may be found as a single digit, 3 or as two digits such as 03 or 15. It is not usually a very long or high number. It can be a zero.
In the UK we find that most Switch cards do have an issue number and where it is shown on a card the sale cannot be completed without that issue number in its exact and correct form. Some Bank of Scotland numbers do not have an issue number.
If the number is missing or an incorrect number is used, the whole sale with not work.
If there is no issue number shown on your card you can leave the box blank or enter the word "none"Please do not enter a zero if you have no issue number.

PAYMENT CARD DATES & ISSUE NUMBER > INCORRECT CARD DETAILS
Whilst we expect that most customers will supply and fill in their card details correctly, some errors do occur from time to time. Details can be misread or mistyped.
Where we receive an order with incorrect card details we will be unable to process and confirm that order until those details are clarified and corrected.
Every effort will be made to contact the customer by e-mail or telephone for UK customers to check the details concerned. We can only proceed when we are able to clarify the situation. We cannot accept any responsibility for any delays, disappointments, criticism, complaint or request for compensation arising from such a delay.
