VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > IMPORTANCE OF A VIABLE DELIVERY DATE
One of the most disappointing situations, for us and then our customers, is when we receive an order for a specific important occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or even a funeral where the sender has entered an impossible delivery date on the order form.

The last thing we all want to do is to miss an important occasion.

Please help us to help you. Please enter a correct and viable delivery date on your order. Please take a few extra moments to check the date you have entered.
VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > NON VIABLE DELIVERY DATE
Your order will be processed and you will receive our normal order confirmation/receipt. This will confirm the accepted day for delivery.
We will adjust this delivery date and notify you accordingly if the date chosen is not viable.
Where the order is for a future date, several days in advance, the nearest viable date that we consider correct, considering the product, delivery method, cut off times and occasion, will be chosen.
Where the order date chosen has past we will choose the next viable delivery date.
Decisions have to be made on this subject for orders received at short notice for immediate dispatch. Under these circumstances the decision will remain with our duty giftservice office manager.

VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > INCORRECT DELIVERY DATE
One of the most difficult situations concerning a delivery date is where we receive an order with what appears to be a correct and viable delivery date but where the wrong date has been incorrectly entered by our customer.
We will have no alternative but to proceed with such an order presuming that the delivery date entered is correct. We cannot accept any responsibility for any complaint arising from an incorrect date supplied, which is a viable date from our service point of view. This date will be confirmed when the order confirmation is sent.
If our customer discovers that they have entered an incorrect delivery date, we will always try to correct the situation. Our ability to change a delivery date will depend upon the timescale and the product involved. It will remain our customers responsibility to pay for any reasonable extra costs involved in changing the delivery date, especially if a gift has to be sent by a different service or more speedy courier delivery.
VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > REFER TO SOONEST DELIVERY CHART
Please help us, to help you, by reading the information, shown in this Customer Service Centre, for the gift you are ordering. Please give careful thought to the date chosen. The most important thing is to recognise the date and time you are ordering and at least check the "soonest delivery chart" information. (see link below)

VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > ADVANCE DATE ORDERING
Please note a large number of our customers order at short notice. The "soonest delivery chart" is intended to assist with short notice ordering. We do however value longer term ordering where our customers may feel more confident on the chosen delivery date providing it meets our general terms. By ordering in advance it provides more time to come back to you should any queries arise.
VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > WEEKEND DELIVERIES
Weekend deliveries are the most difficult. There are no deliveries on a Sunday, except under special circumstances for special occasions like Mother's Day.
Gifts going by Royal Mail are not guaranteed for Saturday delivery but could arrive on Saturday or Monday. Where we receive an order in advance requesting Saturday delivery we will often change the delivery to the Friday asking our customer to come back immediately if they disagree with this change.
Our UK florist deliveries are the most guaranteed for Saturday delivery. Here we can still accept deliveries on a Saturday for the Saturday relative to prevailing UK time. All details should be checked with our soonest delivery reference chart.
Most if not all deliveries by courier will need advance notice. Orders can be pre booked for Saturday for some of our services.
International flower deliveries are subject to the prevailing delivery situation in the respective country. Please check out the respective page on our site or contact us for clarification. Saturday deliveries, for the most part, are possible especially with advance orders, in some cases same day for early ordering.

VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > MONDAY DELIVERIES
The following information presumes that the Monday is not a UK Bank Holiday. UK deliveries are not possible on a Bank Holiday Monday.
We offer our normal same day or pre booked delivery service for our UK florist flowers on a Monday. This is the main service for same day instant response unless the delivery is within the M25, where our London Express Fruit Service can be used.
UK postal flower orders for delivery on a Monday will need to be dispatched on a Saturday. Where these orders are prebooked before the Friday allowances can usually be made for flowers to be in stock. Orders placed at the last minute, late Friday or by 09:00 hrs on the Saturday may be subject to substitution, without notice with short notice. Please remember the flowers will be in transit one day longer than normal. We strongly advise that you should check that the recipient will be at home on the Monday.
Our courier deliveries such as for our fruit service orders need to be pre booked by the Friday to achieve Monday delivery.
Deliveries by Royal Mail Special Delivery Service should ideally be booked by Friday afternoon, earlier for fish, but dispatch will be made on the Saturday for the Monday delivery. Delivery of some gifts such as chocolates may not be guaranteed on a Monday. Late deliveries may need to be made on a Tuesday. The intended delivery date for all orders would be confirmed.
Where the Monday is a Bank Holiday in the UK the above information will apply to the Tuesday. For some gifts, such as UK postal flowers, a Saturday dispatch for Tuesday delivery may be considered too long in transit. You may like to delay delivery until the Wednesday, subject to flower availability, or consider using the Uk florist flower service. This may remain at customers choice and risk.

VIABLE DELIVERY DATE > DELIVERY CUT OFF TIMES
With most of our "services" you need to order by the earlier afternoon on the "Working Day" before the day of delivery. There are some exceptions to this such as our fish deliveries.
Our UK florist flowers deliveries, requiring the flower part of the order to be the main but not only product is the main method of achieving last minute/same day delivery.
If we receive an order for a delivery date which is not possible for that service we will automatically process the order for the next possible viable date. This revised date will be confirmed on your order confirmation. see details above.
Please always check details in our soonest delivery chart.
