As soon as we are satisfied that your order has been
completely checked and the payment has been cleared
we will send you your final confirmation that your
order will be going ahead.
In this document we will confirm
the main order details as you have entered them. You
should look out for the comments box which we will
use to convey any changes we have made to your order.
These notes and comments will over ride the auto generated
order details above and should be read very carefully.
Changes to your order could
include a change of delivery date, recipient address
or product change. It could mean notification of alternative
products we can offer at short notice. We could be
advising you of a problem for which we would value
a rapid response.

and contain other background reminder information

ORDER CONFIRMATION > ORDER
REFERENCE NUMBER
One of the most important items of information on
your order confirmation is your order reference number.
Please print this document and keep it in a safe place
for immediate or long term reference. You will need
to quote your order reference number in all future
contacts for this order.
ORDER CONFIRMATION > PURPOSE
OF ORDER CONFIRMATION
Your order confirmation will arrive, in most cases,
before your order has been delivered. We consider
it has two purposes.
Firstly it confirms that your
order has been received, charged and is going ahead.
Secondly it is your advance
confirmation that we have the confidence that delivery
will be made on the requested day and date. This assumption
is backed by the fact that we monitor, on your behalf,
all orders to make sure we have no delivery problems.
We assure you, that you will be informed as quickly
as is possible of any such problems. On this basis
we will not actually confirm delivery as it is implied
to be completed by the way our service operates.
If you should require further
confirmation of delivery this may be possible but
for certain orders, especially for deliveries outside
the UK there may be an additional cost. Any delivery
query will take time to investigate, this could be
several days according to when a query is raised and
where the delivery was destined.
ORDER CONFIRMATION > WHEN
SHOULD I RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION?
Order confirmations are produced and checked personally
by our sales team. Although orders are received and
read out of business hours it is unlikely that orders
will be confirmed outside the normal working hours
for our office. See link below.
During the normal working days
and weeks of the year you should receive your order
confirmation within 24 hours depending upon global
time differences. In many cases, during a normal UK
working day, this will be much sooner. During UK weekends
orders placed later on Saturday could take 36 to 48
hours. At peak periods or UK Bank Holidays this could
be longer. Please see separate seasonal links which
will be provided before each holiday or peak occasion.
ORDER CONFIRMATION > WHAT
DO I DO IF NO CONFIRMATION ARRIVES?
If you do not receive an order confirmation at all,
your order has probably failed to reach our offices.
This should prompt you, bearing in mind the time scales
just mentioned, to contact us immediately, to check
if we have received your order and to question if
there have been any errors. We regret that we cannot
accept responsibility for orders which have not been
received.
During weekends & UK holiday
periods, some customers will receive a short order
acknowledgement to say that the order has been received
but will not be fully processed until our offices
re open after the break. This may not happen to all
orders though and the above time scale applies overall.
