"Customer Details" section of the order
form. This should be entered in the line below your
day time phone number.

HOURS CONTACT
We call this section "evening phone number"
but what we are really looking for is an evening/out
of business hours contact number. Although we have
no wish to annoy any customer by calling in the evening,
sometimes that is the only time we can make contact
if a query or problem occurs. The same is true for
weekends, especially for a Saturday delivery.

If you do not have a suitable evening contact number
or you know you will be away from home and unavailable,
apart from supplying your mobile number you might
like to nominate another person at another number
to act for you in the event of a query.
This would also be useful if
you are based outside the UK and you have a more immediate
contact person in the UK we could be authorised to
deal with. This could in fact be the recipient but
better not if possible. It could be another person
at the recipients house.

We would say that land based numbers are preferred
because they tend to provide clearer reception. Mobile
numbers are very useful these days, especially where
many customers tend to be away from home for long
periods.

We have a policy of keeping our customers informed
if we are made aware of any problems with their order.
Sometimes that information comes in late afternoon
after you have left the office and we may need further
information from you to complete the delivery that
evening.

on to anyone without your prior permission. Your number
as our customer is for use by our office team only.
